WEEK TWO
WEEK TWO
30 Guests
You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.
You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a stranger—no, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.
You're at Chรขteau Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...
TIME LOOP:
-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.
LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool โ mud bath, throne room โ menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT
This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.
This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

I'm a little bit greedy. What can I say?
( One could even call him voracious... )
I'm always true to my feelings. ( Vague, thanks, ) It just depends what you think they are.

His gaze settles on Hwylryn, his embarrassment forgotten in pursuit of what heโs deemed a mystery. Curiosity doesnโt manifest as rain or clouds, but maybe it smells or feels something like a spring breeze. Gโraha isnโt keeping track. ]
I could hazard a guess or three, but would they dig beneath the surface of feelings that you are willing to put on display?
[ Hwylryn is open and bound to his own whims, but he wonders if the man would deny being closed off, too.
Not like Gโraha can say anything about being closed off, though. Itโd be hypocritical. ]
no subject
Do I seem like a secretive person to you?
( He says this with some intrigue - is there any gossip better than how another person perceives you? )
no subject
That you do. One as long-lived as you is bound to carry many secrets.
[ But that's a little bit outside of the scope of their discussion here, so he adds: ]
Would you tell me, then, what your thoughts are of me? Or is that for me to surmise and for you to never directly confirm?
no subject
What do you think? Do you want me to give you a hint?
no subject
A true scholar will always accept a hint if it means that they stride ahead.
[ So, yes. Lay it on him. ]
no subject
A scholar's pride, huh . . . I'd never thought of it like that. Mmm, let's see . . . How about . . .
( A Northerner would sooner die than get a hint (and probably would) - to think of it from an inquisitive perspective is fresh, and so he takes his time thinking of how to express it. He taps his chin, tilting his head from one time to another - taking his sweet time; once again, teasing anticipation; once again, theatrics. Hmmmm . . . )
. . . If you left me a letter, and all it said was that you'd be going across a whole continent for a little while, I'd cross the whole length to find you again.
( Just for a little while without his company! And, as tempting as it would to say he'd cross the seas - that doesn't impress the importance enough, he thinks. Crossing the seas would be far too easy for him. And so, the lands it is! )
no subject
Ah, braving the land when the sea is vastly your preference. [ It means that Hwylryn is expressing that he'd go through difficult terrain for him, and that illustrates his thoughts more than anything else. ] 'Tis an honor, friend.
[ It's a meaningful expression of Hwylryn's feelings, he thinks. ]
I do believe I can visualize the way you feel in my mind's eye. Mayhap there is no need to fit it into one specific phrase or emotion. Your hint serves just as well.
no subject
I don't mind that.
( He's long since learned how to employ a silver tongue, but, at his core, he's much more keen on action - and perhaps that's what's best expressed in his hint, and where he finds most comfort. He's happy it's connected. )
But if that's how we'll do it, then you can't leave me without a hint where I lie. Is "friend" where it begins and ends?
( There's nothing wrong with being a friend, really - but what does this word mean to G'raha? Is it as Hwylryn says "friend," or is it of a different scope? He's endlessly curious, and he thinks he's earned his dues. )
no subject
[ Certainly it means something different to dragons, given their longevity. To answer a question, any scholar worth their grit would need to know the definition of what they're working with first. ]
no subject
Mmm . . . When I call someone friend, I guess I mean that they're someone who's moved my heart, and I'll remember them no matter how many years pass. I might not remember everything, but - I think the spirit of the thing, the gist of it, I'll always keep close. Because I've swallowed them into the beat of my heart.
But, I don't know. Maybe, for you, it's a little bit less than that. Someone you remember until you die?
( Recollection-centric seems to be the pattern, at least. )
no subject
'Tis the same for me.
[ G'raha even places a hand over his own heart. ]
A friend will hold a special spot in my heart, and were we to be malms apart, I would never cast away the memories that I hold within.
no subject
You know what, there's an aura of effect here for his feelings, but Hwylryn has decided that's been enough of that. With a bright smile, he will quite suddenly pull G'raha in for a tiiiight hug, but he will very intentionally pull G'raha's head against his chest so G'raha can't see whatever aura there is. A dragon of secrets, guilty as charged! )
Can you guess how that makes me feel?
1/2
no subject
Unfortunately, G'raha is quick on the uptake. ]
That you would prefer if I did not see it plainly.
no subject
If that's how you want to play, I'll eat your ear. They might as well be hair's breadth from my lips.
( hard to say if he's teasing or being shy in some ........ way, )
no subject
[ Please!! It's like he's being bullied by a much bigger cat— ]
no subject
I'll consider it. But only because I'm feeling magnanimous, as your friend.
( He parks his chin on top of G'raha's head, deciding, evidently, that they're staying like this for a moment (because when else will he get to do this,) )
... I think I just wish I could show you the sea. I could point to that, and say, "Here, this is how I feel." These auras are cute... but it just isn't enough. My feelings aren't so shallow.
( And maybe there's some safety in that opaqueness - to gesture to the boundless beauty of the sea, and have it do its expressing for you, instead of being so exposed. Just a little bit shy, in a way not so usual for him. He's very happy. )
no subject
But it's fine. G'raha has accepted his fate. ]
Hmm, the endless depths of the sea and the crashing of waves against the rocky face of a cliff. Tumultuous and yet still in the same breath.
[ And yet still as opaque as the darkness that sits at the bottom. G'raha won't push it this time, however, lest he get put into a headlock. ]
