You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.

You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a stranger—no, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.

You're at Château Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...

TIME LOOP:

-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.

LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool → mud bath, throne room → menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT

This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.

This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

But I've kissed plenty, if that's what you mean. Intimacy is as simple as conversation when you let it be.

Conversation isn't simple to me. It gets boring after a while, and everyone only talks so they can get what they want.

[She was never very talkative and isolated herself at school often enough, though she's a quick study. When she wants to act a certain way, she will. Doesn't it say so on her plaque?]

And I've only ever wanted to kiss one person, so maybe you're right about the correlation.

Is that person someone you like talking to, too?

Of course she is.

[Everyone's emotions were manipulated last week, so he might not even remember the emotion with which he wished them happiness. Maybe, to Andrew, it'd be better if he didn't. The dots should not be difficult to connect regardless.]

( He definitely guessed as much, but to him it was allowing her dignity, considering she was so broken up about certain things surrounding the topic. Something raw and close to the heart. )

There's all kinds of people I can talk to, but it's not so simple finding someone to keep to forever. So . . . I think maybe, our experiences are a little bit opposite.

You've lived a long time, haven't you? Perhaps that's why.

[Her world has been small, and it has been dark. She has never dared to look very far outside of it.]

Heh. You must think of me as a child.

[Compared to him, she really is. Even compared to most of the human beings here... She basically is. She doesn't know how she should feel, somewhere between the two things. Her emotions are inscrutably cloudy.]

But is that such a bad thing? Being young means you still have that much more room to grow. For someone of my most advanced age . . . I am what I am, the sum of so many centuries of experience . . . and it would be very hard to change my path now.

[Yes...Children still have plenty of time to grow up. Andrew shrugs a little.]

My path feels like it has been set for me ever since I was born.

[She's always been told that she'll need to be particularly useful to her family, or that it would be easy to dispose of her if she wasn't. She's always been weak and obedient.]

Though I would choose the same feelings even if things weren't this way. Do you feel the same about yours?

[Why lie? When she had been able to dream of it at all, it had been terrifying, like sticking her head through a barbed wire fence.]

My father has more military power than the crown. You don't hide from him unless you can't be found.
