At least this time you were given ample time to wreck your sleep schedule before the clocks gong at midnight (no apologies for such little sleep in the first place withstanding). The carnival looks just as you remember it, with the banquet and drinks refreshed. The spread is the same as before with two new additions: a platter of cute cupcakes that might remind you of someone, along with baozi of all types.

Like before, mind the pit in the middle and settle in to vote out the guilty party for the death of Siobhan "Shiv" Roy. With the benefit of experience, maybe this will be a little bit easier? With the mood weather lifted, there won't be any floods at trial at least.

[ She raises a hand up in acknowledgement, the exact same way she did as a pink duck. Anyway, she doesn't give a shit about taking off her shoes, so she just....takes them off again. She'll be holding them kinda upside down and shaking. Nothing comes out. As for the soles, there's the dirt you'd expect to see from someone who walks outside and doesn't clean it every single day. No glass, soot, wood chips, or mysterious white organic liquid here.

She'll also shake her head. Nothing comes out. Her hair is clean, about the main difference from usual is that she's wearing a ribbon on her left pigtail. ]

Okay, no, he's got nothing of the sort. At best he has some capybara fur here. Nothing falls from his hair when he shakes his head.

[ His shoes are clean with no glass on the bottoms of his shoes and no gravel or anything like that either.

He'll shake his head and all that'll do is cause his ears to move with the motion a bit. If needed, he'll undo his lil rattail and let his hair loose to show that that's clean too. ]

[Well, Hamel is currently barefoot, so it would probably be incredibly obvious if she had stepped on glass—which is to say her soles are clear. She'll also shake out her hair, which is clear of any debris as well.]

When you want to hunt animals, you only give them one route. The bathroom... wasn't a possible escape route, because of the poker. The odds and ends of the other one feels more like it was trying to trip whoever up, but if that was the case it shouldn't have stayed that way.

I don't think... it was someone in the library's fault, because it'd be hard to set either one up if you're locking yourself from the inside. The poker was probably first, and then the blockade after, but... I also don't think... um, that this was a one person job.
