TRIAL II
Trial
At least this time you were given ample time to wreck your sleep schedule before the clocks gong at midnight (no apologies for such little sleep in the first place withstanding). The carnival looks just as you remember it, with the banquet and drinks refreshed. The spread is the same as before with two new additions: a platter of cute cupcakes that might remind you of someone, along with baozi of all types.
Like before, mind the pit in the middle and settle in to vote out the guilty party for the death of Siobhan "Shiv" Roy. With the benefit of experience, maybe this will be a little bit easier? With the mood weather lifted, there won't be any floods at trial at least.
(( OOC: Welcome to your first trial! You'll have 7 hours (until 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT) to vote one (1) person guilty of murder. As this is scapegoat style, a correct vote is not necessary. Please remember to vote unless otherwise discussed with the mods, as that is our AC for this game ))

Or...? [Is he implying that Siobhan might not have been an innocent victim fleeing across the garden?]

[ Not that there's a better option, but like, that sucks? ]

Who would you vote for, if not the person who killed her?

... Ourselves? We can, but... The Witch says it's boring.
[ So it might be the only time they can do that.
(And, honestly. You don't... necessarily trust that so many people would agree to it, either. It might be a good time to knock out a grudge.) ]

[ her voice doesn't imply that she thinks that's happening, if they can even get to that point. ]

He might just pick who he'd think would make a fun show at that point.

Though, it would be rather obvious afterward if someone didn't follow along.

Alright, if that's what you want. I'll go along with it.

The point of these isn't to find the right person, but just to kill someone, right? Since there's no penalty or reward for voting wrong or right.
If killing the killer doesn't feel right... Then, if everyone could remove one person here, who would they remove?
Maybe they could use it like that.

You mean... if there's someone who wants to be voted for?

I doubt I'd be able to get someone off of me just by kicking them.
no subject
It's where you kick that matters, I think.
the minorest allusion to eye trauma here

It depends on how. Pinned down, you can't really... do much, but I'd probably go for the face.
no subject
Why the face?

[ Siffrin tugs at their hair, then motions to their eye. The covered one, mind. ]
If I could make them flinch for a moment, then that's enough of a chance to do more. Especially... if you have nails, it's effective.
no subject
I like to keep my nails clean.
[ super random, but he does have nice nails ok and he takes care of them! look, he even shows them to siffrin, holding both hands out, fingers and rings displayed. ]
