Investigation

Your early morning begins with the infernal but familiar chime of dozens of grandfather clocks crying out in unison. Or does it? Let's rewind a little!

For those of you on the first floor of the castle the morning may begin just a few seconds earlier and it may sound more like BOOM!! - and who doesn't enjoy the ominous rumble of an explosion as their wake-up call? At least nothing seems to be immediately on fire this time.

Whether it is the boom or the clocks that wake you, you'll find that it is just past 5am and another Friday is upon you. While this may fill you with a sense of trepidation, you might still enjoy taking a quick look out the window. Every single flowering plant in the garden is in full bloom today, despite not even getting to the point of budding during the rest of the week. You don't remember spotting cherry trees out there before, but there they are. There's plum and apple, too, seemingly new saplings you don't remember from last night crowding the palace windows. You can only hope that this is a good omen for all things to come.

[ Ramming the door does not make it fly open, but it does make it budge - G'raha will feel like there is considerable resistance on the other side, but it's clearly not unmovable.

Does he want to ram it again?

The smell of gunpowder is wafting out from the inside, now that the door is opened a little. ]

[ SHE IS RAMMING IT AGAIN!!!! Not at the same time as G'raha but SHE IS GOING!!! ]

[ Another bit of budge!! There's a good 7 inches of gap now!! ]

COME ON, YOU DAMN THING!

[ AGAIN. AND AGAIN ]

[ he's gonna reach in through that gap... can he grab onto whatever is blocking the door? ]

[ He'll find it to be... a whole chapel pew, so unfortunately it's nothing he could easily remove from here... ]

[ DAMN.... okay time to join Lili in ramming the door again now that he knows it won't explode. ]

[Might as well get the whole trio in on this thing.]

[ FUCK YEAH BOYS LETS GO ]

[ Between G'raha, Urianger and An Lili, they'll have the door half-opened soon! The pew inside slides over the floor with each of their ramming efforts, until there is a large enough gap that they can comfortably pass through.

From their vantage point at the kitchen door, they'll see a hunched over figure on the floor close to the altar. ]

With that, Urianger rushes through the castle and out a gallery door to approach the chapel from the outside.]

[ Guess what? It's blocked from the inside, same as the other doors. ]

[Fuck outta here with this locked room mystery!!!

He'd attempt to get into this door, but he needs to report back to the others so they're not left wondering.

So back he goes, leaning over with his hands on his knees when he returns.]

'Tis blocked. However, I did witness Sousuke also making an attempt to enter from the banquet hall.

[So it's only a matter of time, surely...]
