Your early morning begins with the infernal but familiar chime of dozens of grandfather clocks crying out in unison. Or does it? Let's rewind a little!

For those of you on the first floor of the castle the morning may begin just a few seconds earlier and it may sound more like BOOM!! - and who doesn't enjoy the ominous rumble of an explosion as their wake-up call? At least nothing seems to be immediately on fire this time.

Whether it is the boom or the clocks that wake you, you'll find that it is just past 5am and another Friday is upon you. While this may fill you with a sense of trepidation, you might still enjoy taking a quick look out the window. Every single flowering plant in the garden is in full bloom today, despite not even getting to the point of budding during the rest of the week. You don't remember spotting cherry trees out there before, but there they are. There's plum and apple, too, seemingly new saplings you don't remember from last night crowding the palace windows. You can only hope that this is a good omen for all things to come.

[ Oh.... he hates this even more, actually!!!

He'll be removing what he needs to so as to preserve her modesty in death so he can get a better look at those stab wounds. Are these wounds clean and precise or are they messy? ]

[ Freeing Andrew's upper body reveals that her upper arms and torso are covered in light blue petichiae-like dots - they don't appear to be injuries, but G'raha would become aware of them when undressing her.

The wounds on her lower back are varying in depth and partially overlapping, making the size of individual wounds a bit difficult to tell. Though the individual stab wounds seem to have been made with a clean blade, the overall impression of the area is messy thanks to the sheer amount of injuries layered over one another. ]

[ He doesn't spend more than a moment or two looking at those light blue dots, only to see their spread.

But he'll move on to the wounds on her back. It's incredibly messy... how deep does these wounds go? Are they relatively shallow, or are they deep? Are they all concentrated on her lower back? ]

[ They're all concentrated on the right side of her lower back and though the depth varies, most of them seem to go pretty deep - is... is G'raha going to jam his fingers in to make sure? ]

[ NEVER..... He's going to use his eyes just to see.... determining they're pretty deep, he'll leave them alone. No jamming his fingers in the wound unlike SOME people.

Aside from her shoulder wound, broken bones, and stab wounds, are there any other injuries present on Andrew? If not, he'll be looking at those broken bones again. Are they crushed or simply broken? ]

[ The bone in her arm is broken in many places, a righteous mess. Her ribs and legs are cleaner breaks by comparison!

Looking her body over, he'll find that her palms and knees are bloody, as is the whole back of her dress from the stab wounds downwards.

Her palms and knees seem like they're mostly sullied by the blood around rather than injured themselves, but there is a laceration on her left palm and some bruising on her right wrist. ]

[ He'll look at that bruising first—how far does it expand, and how dark is this bruising? What shape is it in? ]

[ The bruising is fairly light, uneven but circular around her wrist! ]

[ The laceration is next, then! G'raha will be looking at how deep it might be, as well as its size and the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the cut. ]

[ It's a fairly clean cut of medium depth, spanning the whole length of her palm!

Looking at her hands this closely, he'll also be able to tell that livor mortis had begun setting in - the blood in Andrew's body had begun pooling in her hands, on the front of her legs, and the front of her chest. Those areas are darker, where the rest of her is paler.]

[ He hates this so much, actually!!

As he takes note of he livor mortis, G'raha looks for any signs of fighting back, like anything under her fingernails, etc. Otherwise, he's going to look for anything else of note on her body. ]

[ Her cheeks are bulging outward a little. ]

[ He presses his fingers to her cheeks, gently, trying to see if it feels like there's something in there.

If it does, he'll gently open her mouth to see what may be inside. ]

[ Inside Andrew's mouth, there are two hastily folded up pages of paper. Remove? ]

[ Removing!!

He'll be unfolding those pieces of paper to look at them. What's on them? ]

[ It's a bit tricky to remove them with how tightly they're held between Andrew's cheeks and teeth, but he gets it! G'raha is looking at ripped out bible pages. On both of them, there are smears of blood but the text remains largely legible.

You have obtained John 6:49-58:

49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.

Anyway, he can at least tell this is some kind of religious text here... which is really unsettling, yay. He'll be looking at the blood smeared onto the pages. Is it a lot? ]

[ It's a decent amount, but little enough to leave the pages legible. He might be able to make out the shape of a fingerprint among the smears. ]

[ He's not going to try to decipher a fingerprint here since that's what trial is for but he will be very carefully ensuring that doesn't get damaged.

Now that he's found the terrifying religious text in her mouth, is there anything else of note? ]

[ Andrew is wearing a long black dress and in it's pockets he'll be able to find an empty bottle of analgesic medicine and the sheath of a stiletto dagger. ]

[ He'll take the dagger and give it a good look after making note of the medicine. Is it just the sheath? And does this sheath look damaged, bloody, etc? ]

[ It's just the sheath and it is undamaged! It's bloody, but it's also coming from her bloody dress, so... ]

[ Can't escape the blood...

He'll look over her dress for any tears, rips, stains outside of the blood and mess of stab wounds before moving on to check her hair and shoes. ]

[ There are a few tears in her dress on the left and back side, and he might find small wood or metal splinters lodged in them.

Her shoes are bloody, and so is a lot of her hair. Just... lots of blood here. ]

[ THERE'S NO ESCAPING IT FOR REAL....

He'll make note of those splinters and tears before looking her over again carefully to make sure he doesn't miss anything. Otherwise, he'll fix her dress back up so it's again fully on. ]
