Epilogue
EPILOGUE
Your stopped time has restarted. Whether you were in the grassy field or fighting for your life on the castle grounds, you'll suddenly find yourself in an untouched area of the gardens. Ish is back, and so are the items, and the dead.
You return to Chateau Ambregris with the certain knowledge that come Monday, you will greet a new week, in a home of your own choosing. No longer will the chime of the clocks hunt you down, no longer will the oppressive scent of roses haunt your senses, no longer will you be forced to watch the death of those you've come to love and hate.
Parting is such a bittersweet sorrow, isn't it?
Make merry one last time, in this castle of illusions. Ironically, your memories of this stolen time that never existed are the one thing that will truly remain to you.
END NOTES
🔮 All dead are revived as tsukumogami! Congrats on your immortality(?)
🔮 Any other contracts made with Ish will be honored
🔮 Characters may choose to leave for any world they desire.
🔮 Time has not passed while you were stuck in this loop!
🔮 There will be no cross-dimensional world travel, except for on Samhain (Witches New Year October 31st/November 1st). On these dates, Ish will enable everyone to visit each other's world freely.
🔮 Universal Communication will be possible, courtesy of Manba and Ish. Everyone who wants one will be given a small fox that can communicate with other foxes through voice and video; the foxes can talk and are fairly simple creatures, enjoy them and give them fried tofu once in a while.
🔮 Powers are on for the finale, but Ish will step in and yeet anyone who gets too out of hand back to their homeworld, so play nice! (or relatively nice. )

[OOC: Welcome to your epilogue! The timeloop is ended, the evil has been defeated, and you have some time to catch your breath in the castle before the rest of your life begins! ]

oh that icon hurts me so bad
[ He's relieved. So, so relieved that Urianger is safe and healthy and whole. That had been one of G'raha's biggest worries here, that he would one day wake up and find Urianger no longer among the living.
...It's a shame, then, that Urianger had to face that scenario for G'raha instead.
Which is why he doesn't hesitate in quickly making his way towards Urianger, wasting no time at all in pulling him into an embrace. It's lopsided, given their difference in size, but that doesn't really matter right now, does it? ]
Full glad am I to see you.
[ He said the same when they first arrived, didn't he? But it applies nevertheless. ]
good :knife: (also endwalker spoilers)
Likewise, my friend.
[Their parting was very short in the grand scheme of things, much like when they gave their lives in Ultima Thule so that the Warrior of Light could go on and confront Meteion. But that doesn't take away from just how traumatic the whole ordeal was.]
Thou art returned, and our struggle in this realm is finally over. 'Tis everything we could have hoped for.
AUUUGH
That it is. I feel a sense of relief I have not in a long, long while.
[ A month, to be precise. He pauses, falling into a contemplative silence, the sort that Urianger might know well. G'raha has something he plans to share with Urianger and Urianger only.
The other Scions will find out in due time. ]
There is... something I must tell you. There were conditions for our return.
no subject
Cautiously, he parts enough to look down at G'raha.]
Conditions?
no subject
My necklace. I am bound to it, not unlike when I was bound to the Crystal Tower on the First.
[ That should be more than enough for Urianger, but he'll continue: ]
So long as my necklace remains unharmed, I will live. My physical form will no longer age and I will be in good health... for however long this necklace retains its shape.
[ He's no longer mortal, and while he leaves a lot unsaid, he thinks Urianger knows the weight of it, the feelings that G'raha will need to sort through while he navigates something achingly familiar. ]
1/2 me irl: what the fuck
Indeed, that's more than enough for Urianger to understand, and those words visibly weigh him down like he's been punched in the gut. His mouth falls agape, eyes wide behind the goggles.
G'raha...has transcended humanity once again. The very thing that returning him to the Source was supposed to remedy.]
no subject
[His voice cracks at the seams again, because the gravity of the situation is too awful to bear. G'raha's going to outlive them all. They will age while he does not, and he'll lose them all to time.]
I know not what to say.
no subject
[ Urianger's support is more than enough. He'll likely need it much like he did on the First, even if it's a terrible burden to place upon him all the same. He feels... guilty for it, even though he knows well that Urianger is a strong enough man to carry the burden of this knowledge, at least for a while.
At least until G'raha figures out exactly how he wants to share it. At least until he can bear the brunt of pain on all of his loved one's faces at this knowledge. ]
I know it is barely a consolation, but I am not alone this time. That will... ease the burden, I believe.
[ Ease it, but not rid him of it. ]
