WEEK TWO
WEEK TWO
30 Guests
You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.
You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a stranger—no, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.
You're at ChΓ’teau Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...
TIME LOOP:
-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.
LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool β mud bath, throne room β menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT
This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.
This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

...I don't like the thought of there being observers.

I wonder if he's had her favor for a while now. I wonder ... if he's heard from her, since he started on all this.
[ maybe she's just letting the angle Shiv pursued so strongly color her perceptions, but certainly, there has to be something going on, to drive him so persistently. whether that's desperation, or devotion, or something else... who can say. ]

I suspect you may be correct-- that he hasn't heard from her in some time now.

[ belief in the absence of proof, only memory and thought to bolster it; is that faith,
or delusion? when your memories might be . . .
... ]
Remind me what it was he said, again?

But I do wonder... after all, even hearing from someone is not necessarily evidence.
[The angels had been hearing from "God" for years, and look how that had turned out. A false God, a high-ranking angel wearing the title even as he pretended to speak with God's voice, had kept them all fooled.
Or, perhaps... they had so wanted to believe that they had simply never questioned anything.]

[ and memory is such a fallible thing. what does that mean for her, who...?
(no. stop. no further. you cannot doubt, you owe it to her, after everything she gave upβ
'being forgotten, as if they never existed... it's too cruel.') ]

[Or not hear what they didn't want to hear, as the case may be.
"Even hearing that, can you still pretend not to know? Do you plan to feign ignorance with the truth right in front of your eyes?"
"... Wrath. No, Mere didn't hear anything at all."]
no subject
[ what is that like, expecting to hear from God...? like something from above or elsewhere, speaking into your ears, your mind, a message for you alone? ]
