WEEK TWO
WEEK TWO
30 Guests
You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.
You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a strangerβno, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.
You're at ChΓ’teau Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...
TIME LOOP:
-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.
LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool β mud bath, throne room β menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT
This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.
This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

I want to make something for someone, since they don't have it anymore. Reset, and all. It's better with company.
no subject
Oh. That's very nice of you.
[A big nod.] Let's do it, then. I can help.
no subject
[ To the workshop!
...
(Is it nice? She just seemed to like it, that's all, so...) ]
Do you know how to carve wood?
no subject
[He seems very willing to just go along with What He Is Told To Do.]
no subject
Okay. It's relaxing.
[ So like. Quietest shuffle trip up. Into the workshop, where Siffrin'll gather some softer wood and carving knives.
...
And a pair of gloves for Sariel, after a thought. Some pencils... Okay. ]
Do you have an animal you like?
no subject
I like ants. [duh] But I suppose those are insects.
no subject
[ That's fine! And counts. Might be a little harder... but they have an idea of how to form it on the small block. ]
I'll draw it, and then we'll carve together.
[ Simple enough... The vauge outline of where to cut, simple enough, they hope, for a beginner. But it's okay. Wood carving isn't a race. The other block is marked too, and Siffrin pushes the gloves at Sariel. ]
And put those on. You'll cut away from yourself, but there's always the chance that you'll nick a finger.
no subject
[He can make an ant. :)]
I see. I think I've seen things like this in the markets...
[He watches as he draws it, before taking the gloves. Always good to stay safe.]
Where did you learn how to do this?
no subject
And a few cuts as Siffrin chews the question in mind, short and careful, just to whittle down a little. ]
... I don't remember. I just picked it up one day a few years back and it felt right.
no subject
Felt right....how do you know when...things feel right?
no subject
[ Right. Natural. ]
You don't have to think about how to do it at all.
no subject
[There's a gloomy little cloud hanging over his head at that.]
I see. Like breathing.
[He's chipping away at the wood, precise. Like a machine.]
no subject
... I've been told... that when I work, I say a phrase to myself. I guess it helps me concentrate. Or it's Crafting at work. I've probably done it as long as I can remember.
[ But it wasn't pointed out to them until recently. ]
You can do that, too. Um. To make it easier. Something like, "please be fine". As many times as it feels right. I think I usually do it three, seven, or nine times.
