WEEK TWO
WEEK TWO
30 Guests
You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.
You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a stranger—no, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.
You're at Château Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...
TIME LOOP:
-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.
LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool → mud bath, throne room → menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT
This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.
This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

(OOC: Murder proposals and counter proposals are open! )

... I guess they weren't really friends, then.
( How sad... )
Did you stop helping people after that?
no subject
I guess. [She holds her elbow.] I mean, does a weapon even help people in the first place?

I saved the world. I - I defeated Madame Atom. But all I was, was an instrument in a war against her. That’s all.
no subject
( He lifts his head, studying her for a moment. )
... If that's how you felt, it wouldn't hurt so much that people see you wrong. Right? It sounds like... you're a person who was just trying to do the right thing.
no subject
I was…trying to do something.
[If it was right or wrong - who can say? She doesn’t know anymore. She just wanted to do a good job. Now look at her.
She swats at the clouds.]
These things are fucking annoying.
no subject
( He's sympathetic... even if he was definitely using them as a frame of reference. )
We can talk about something else. What's something you like?
no subject
And, it doesn’t help, that when she thinks of an answer to the question - she can’t think of anything.]
What does it matter?
no subject
( He looks up at her, chin in his palm. )
And what defines you beyond the things that make you sad.
no subject
[She gestures to herself. The point is pretty apparent in her appearance.]
I can’t live a normal life anymore. I can barely maintain the shape of who I used to be - this is - this is all there is.
no subject
... I think it's pretty. Like the sunset ocean against a cliff side.
( Hwylryn speaks honestly, but he also speaks knowing she may not consider it a compliment. Few people like kindness shown toward their aggressors - and sometimes, the aggressor is the cage of one's own body; their history.
Still, that's how he feels. And he won't lie when he expresses his heart. )
You might not be able to do the things you did before, and maybe you can't keep that shape, but can't you do new things instead? Be someone new?
no subject
She’s reminded of her dear - and only - friend back home.
Suddenly, she feels a pain in her chest. The clouds thin, if only slightly.]
…But who would I be?
[Her voice is smaller, more tentative, definitely unsure.]
no subject
( It's not an easy answer, and not a straightforward answer. But, as someone still figuring some things out tens of thousands of years later - it's the only one he knows, and he's come to make some peace with it. )
Everything you do, little by little, builds into what you can become. So why don't you start with doing things you like, and becoming a person made up of those things?
no subject
You make it sound easy.
no subject
( Not necessarily the same. At least, not here. )
But what else can one do but try?
no subject
[She’s only half joking.]
no subject
Do you want to?
