WEEK TWO
WEEK TWO
30 Guests
You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.
You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a stranger—no, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.
You're at ChΓ’teau Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...
TIME LOOP:
-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.
LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool β mud bath, throne room β menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT
This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.
This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

...
Siffrin'll become more absorbed in their work as they go, mumbling quietly under their breath ("please come out well please come out well please come out well"), but it's a quiet vibe otherwise. ]

Blade doesn't make a habit of saying much, and although he hears it, he won't disturb them. If anything, he's concentrating further on his little project...
...somehow, he's making progress, though. ]
no subject
...
So they'll set their work down for a moment and stretch their wrists, watching Blade to see how he's doing. ]
no subject
Already done?
[ Blade grunts, though he isn't necessarily too disgruntled. He already knew that he would be particularly not so great at this for a myriad reasons. ]
no subject
[ More deliberateness to the motions, so there's more pressure as a result. ]
... You're doing well for a first timer. Do you wanna stain it after? Um, it protects the wood and brings out its natural color.
no subject
[ At least once you get really into it, so he does understand, at least. ]
...I thought I wasn't doing so well, at first. [ ... ] If it's preserved easier, staining it will be fine.
no subject
...
But it's nice, isn't it. Having something in the meanwhile. ]
Okay. [ ... ] Did you choose your name?
no subject
But more permanent than the glance of a moment. ]
I did.
I am the one who chose the name "Blade". It is what I am. It is who I am.
[ Whoever he was before is a distant memory. The name he had before...how can he reclaim it like this? And so, he is in effect the blade that has been sharpened into the weapon that he is; yet, shows fractures along its metal. ]
no subject
[ (Even if you remember your throat tightening at first, then loosening, at the realization that it sounded new to you too.) ]
It sounds pretty cool. But kind of like if someone named themselves Scissor, because they use Piercing Craft.
no subject
Does it mean something to you?
[ The name "Siffrin", he means. Or was it truly just completely as instinctive of a response that it simply bubbled up? ]
What do you mean by Piercing Craft?
no subject
[ It's a Mystery... but the other question is far more welcome. ]
Piercing Craft is one of the, um... "magics" in my world. A combat one. I use it, too. The others are Protecting and Creative for Rock and Paper respectively.
no subject
Well, Blade's heard stranger things. He can make inferences about which does what.
...Somewhat. He pauses at the current state of the potentially finished work. ]
Creative does what?
no subject
[ ....................
Okay???????????? ]
Um. Shields go under Creative Crafts, as do... fortifying weaknesses another Craft might have. And spells. It has... more of a supporting role, in comparison to the other two, but Odile's managed to create spells through it that let her use Scissor and Rock Craft with ease. Stuff like that.

[ HELP...
Anyway, Blade is going to just go right on ahead and put down the sharp implement. He has finished.
He seems to absorb the information, because it does paint a better picture of the mention of all these. Though, he will then ask: ]
...Odile is who?
no subject
[ ... Okay. ]
no subject
[ Blade looks back at the work he's done and then as he's awaiting an answer on that: ]
I'm not sure about the process of staining wood, so you will have to show me.
[ ...is what he simply also says. ]
no subject
[ Siffrin can teach that too!
... ]
I guess so. We're not related by blood, but... they're my family members anyway. Mira, Isa, Odile, and Bonnie. And me. I don't know if it's big or not.
[ That's four people. Five, including them. So maybe. ]
no subject
...Could be considered average amount for family members.
Though, in the end size isn't what really matters.
[ From what he knows of watching others or other people speak of family. ]
no subject
[ Like a sword. ]
no subject
...and like a sword, it can always be reforged into something new. Or stay the same.
[ He isn't exactly sure where he was going with this continued analogy, really. He isn't the best at talking on these things. ]
