WEEK TWO
WEEK TWO
30 Guests
You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.
You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a stranger—no, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.
You're at ChΓ’teau Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...
TIME LOOP:
-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.
LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool β mud bath, throne room β menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT
This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.
This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

I haven't given that much thought before. Those islands have been there for as long as anyone can recall.
no subject
I've got a pretty good theory, from an outsider's point of view.
no subject
[ He's done sketching, so... time to take a little bit of one of the macaroons. ]
no subject
[ (You are so funny.) ]
no subject
[ He'll even hold his little snack container out. Have at it. ]
I did not include it, but there is a floating continent in close proximity to the Sea of Clouds known as Azys Lla. 'Twas built by the ancient Allagans themselves, serving as a hub for scientific experimentation... though not of the good sort.
no subject
Scientific experimentation... There's not a. Technical space for that, in Siffrin's world; it's more alchemical than science, but there's parts that are specifically drawn more to that. Like astronomy. ]
... Like making bombs, or like Crafting handsome young men into monsters?
[ There's. Please don't ask about the second. ]
no subject
A combination. Turning man into monster, creating and testing weaponry, imprisoning magical beings.
no subject
Sounds like they had their hands full.
[ So much going on, on one island. ]
What counts as a magical being?
no subject
I shall be more specific for you—we found a dragon imprisoned upon Azys Lla. One of the great wyrms, to be precise. I believe there were more that escaped eons ago, likely additional dragons and other great beasts of that nature.
no subject
Like Hwylryn? And Tia? Though Siffrin only knows the first's form. Imagining keeping someone like that...
... ]
They wouldn't have kept Hwylryn for long. He would've been free after an hour. [ (so aggravating) ] I can't... really imagine keeping someone that powerful, um, caged up though. It sounds impossible.
[ They're so strong. ]
no subject
[ Countless years of confinement. He can't imagine it. ]
However... I believe she did not make an attempt to break free.
no subject
Siffrin's gonna swipe a macaroon. Only a 7, so it's very noticable. Maybe they meant it to be. ]
Can't have been comfortable, so I wonder why.
[ Dragons are impossible to understand after all. ]
Do birds live up this high, too?
no subject
I believe she was repenting.
[ But that is a whole can of worms in and of itself. ]
Azys Lla is full of Allagan machinery. 'Tis difficult for any life to survive, especially amongst the experiments that have taken to wandering the continent.
no subject
(You can think of better ways to repent. Or at least somewhere else. Someplace sunny. But there's a reason, and that reason...
... is probably a lengthy one. You'll put a pin in it to ask about another time.) ]
So the experiments are about as much wildlife as it gets. [ Still trying to get one. ] I can't imagine it. Vaugarde, Poteria, the lands across the seas... they're all filled with animals, and the only other moving things are what's Crafted to be.
no subject
'Tis strange indeed. I have seen nowhere else like it before or since.
[ Other than the First, but that was different. The world had ended. ]
Rest assured much and more of Eorzea is teeming with life.
no subject
They won't do it, this is the extent of their attempts to get one "casually". ]
Have you found a favorite place to visit in your travels?
no subject
That question actually has him lifting the little box down, so it's easy for them to take on now if they like. ]
A favorite place... [ hmmm ] the Crystarium.
no subject
A curious tilt of the head. What's it like. ]
no subject
A city-state that was built up to be something in a place that lacked anything at all. The sort of locale that displayed the strength in spirit of its people.
no subject
[ Come on. That's all good, but the fun stuff... ]
no subject
[ Yeah, he's got nothing. Sometimes you're so busy you don't even really think about what's a tourist spot. ]
no subject
... You really like plants, huh.
no subject
[ .........
He's not helping his case. It's fine. ]
no subject
You're a nerd.
[ (But
you like that, too.) ]
Any marketplaces? People like to shop. And look at stuff from high above. I always visit the bakeries when I step into a new town too.
no subject
It's true, anyway. ]
Yes, we had a marketplace. Plenty of walkways that looked over the rest of the city. There were points in which you could look out across the surrounding land.
