TRIAL II
Trial
At least this time you were given ample time to wreck your sleep schedule before the clocks gong at midnight (no apologies for such little sleep in the first place withstanding). The carnival looks just as you remember it, with the banquet and drinks refreshed. The spread is the same as before with two new additions: a platter of cute cupcakes that might remind you of someone, along with baozi of all types.
Like before, mind the pit in the middle and settle in to vote out the guilty party for the death of Siobhan "Shiv" Roy. With the benefit of experience, maybe this will be a little bit easier? With the mood weather lifted, there won't be any floods at trial at least.
(( OOC: Welcome to your first trial! You'll have 7 hours (until 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT) to vote one (1) person guilty of murder. As this is scapegoat style, a correct vote is not necessary. Please remember to vote unless otherwise discussed with the mods, as that is our AC for this game ))

Please.

The decorations in my hair are silver. My Archon marks are a dark purple. [ And now he'll start pointing to his clothes, singling out each item. ] My scarf is black, with gold accents, as are my shoes, wristguards, and apron. This shirt [ he grips onto it ] is gray, with a black belt. My pants are solid black as well.
[ Then, he takes his necklace into his hands, pointing to each inlaid gemstone. ]
Blue, red. The rest is gold, and he cord is gray. 'Tis similar for my other necklace.
[ He'll point out the colors on this one too. ]
Silver, red, blue.
[ When he's done, he smiles sheepishly. ]
Mayhap that was a bit more... detailed than you anticipated, but I do hope it was to your satisfaction.

It was perfect.
Siffrin casts their eye over every piece G'raha describes, over every centimeter of the other, and steps a little closer to see the jewelry as well.
So many shades. So many "colors".
(You wish you could see them.
You think that's what you would have asked for, if you had done it.) ]
It was. [ ... ] Colors are forgotten, like my home, but... I think that means they're still there -- we just don't remember how to see them. I might never, but... I really like your shades, G'raha. They're nice to look at.

Indeed they are. I fully believe you will see them someday, even if that may be in the aetherial sea.
[ Does something like that exist for Siffrin? If not, he'll will it into existence anyway. ]
I wonder if then, you could describe yours to me in turn.
[ And....... is Siffrin wearing their hat? ]
no subject
... They're taking it off, just so they can show off their hair. White from the roots down until it hits black, all fluff. ]
My hair is naturally darkless, but I dyed it lightless for a while. My cloak and hat are both darkless, and I like to wear dark clothes under them. My boots are lightless, and so is my eyepatch.
[ A wiggle of their black gloves. Their cloak and hat, a snowy white, and beneath are a dark grey, long-sleeved shirt and black pants. Their boots are also black. ]
... I was told, once... that my eyes-- my eye, now, is the shade of the sea on the horizon when the sun is setting. Kind of dark, but not completely without brightness. I don't know what you'd call it.
[ But from memory, and obviously from G'raha's capable colorvision, it's navy. ]
I like wearing simple, solid shades. It's stylish. [ ... ] Was that okay?
no subject
Full marks. [ No criticisms. ] You appear to enjoy dressing in hidden contrasts.
[ Not unlike their personality in general, G'raha thinks. Small little contrasts under the surface, like Siffrin's penchant for swiping from friends versus his desire to not be perceived. ]
As for your eye, 'tis navy. Not unlike the night sky in the wilderness, a dark blanket settled behind the clouds and stars.

The description makes their face light up, smile wider and warm as they lift their hand to touch their working eye gently.
(... It sounds beautiful, coming from G'raha. You wish you could listen to him more.) ]
The stars have always been important to me. And... the country I don't remember. The observatory here is something you would've found there, but on a smaller scale. I think. The Universe guided us, the stars its messengers. On the sea and in life.
[ But they're absently said, memories that surface and then dip away again. Siffrin shakes their head. ]
Um. Thank you. I like the sound of that.

Pockets of memory that still lie within your heart. I hope that those memories return to you someday.
[ Even if time is running out. There can always be a "someday" for the soul. ]
I'm glad that my description suits your tastes.
[ It's the opposite of the sea, but knowing that the stars are important still means that there's a connection there. ]
Ah... lest I forget.
[ He's announcing it, but... he's swiping for that hat (14). ]

Earning a very surprised, flustered look from Siffrin as their hands go up to their now empty head. Ah... ]
... Cheater.
[ But it's huffed warmly, not a bit of ire in sight. ]
no subject
I did say I would pilfer from you. Apologies for cheating somewhat, but I thought I should fulfill that promise.

are swallowing something down, and your stomach twists to know what it is.) ]
... Mmhmm. Um. You'll... come see me later, right?
no subject
Of course I will.

(You'll be looking forward to it.
The words don't come out, but. You will be.) ]
