TRIAL III
Trial
The gong of the clocks is familiar by now: another Saturday, another seven hours to find out who killed one of your own while you're all sequestered in the circus from hell. Two of your own today actually, Andrew Grace and Sabo.
The spread on offer is the one you've come to expect with three new additions: Baked Smoked Salmon & Eggs (RΓΈkelaks og Egg) in exquisitely detailed ramakins, malanga fritters and a plate of black and white cookies.
Will this week go better than last? Time's a ticking.
(( OOC: Welcome to your first trial! You'll have 7 hours (until 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT) to vote one (1) person guilty of murder. As this is scapegoat style, a correct vote is not necessary. Please remember to vote unless otherwise discussed with the mods, as that is our AC for this game ))

I simply feel that people should at least be remembered ... not accurately, perhaps, but with the names of their choosing. But if that is what you want, then so be it.
There are plenty of others here who will demand answers in my stead.

And you would remember me after such a horrible crime, would you?

I will not, however, pretend that we are in any sort of position to claim the moral high ground. I will leave it at this: I think it is a cruel thing, to be wholly and completely forgotten or erased.
[ '...no trace of your life on earth, nor a single memory of you will remain anywhere. no one will ever be aware of your presence again, and you will never be able to interact with anyone.'
... it's not the same, not in the least, but. maybe she would also rather not condemn 'cornelius hickey', whoever he is, for the crimes of whoever's using his name. ]

Terrible, yes. But I've got my reasons. Condemn me for them if you like, but you're right on: There's no moral high ground to be found here.
But no one's forgetting me, I can promise you that much.
no subject
[ so perhaps in at least some ways, he shall. ]
Desperation drives many people, in the end. Can there be reason beyond that?
