INVESTIGATION

Being forced asleep the second the clock struck midnight has been an ill-omen for weeks now. Yet this morning sees you waking not to explosions and smoke, but to the comfortable feeling of eight hours of uninterrupted rest. It's 8 in the morning and the sun is already out, and all is quiet around Chateau Ambregris.

Do you dare hope that you can face the day without further bloodshed? That Ish's announcement of needing no more bodies has stilled the restless violence in everybody's hearts? They say time heals all wounds, but has this ever-repeating week truly had the same effect?

[ Honestly, a full night's rest after the last few weeks' Friday mornings is probably the most suspicious thing of all. Homura is significantly nocturnal, but even so, going on too little sleep when she can't mumblemumble madoka things gets to be somewhat of an issue.

8 am is so late it's strange though. The sun doesn't reach inside here to the wintering room, where the magical lantern she'd taken to cozily spend the night in an igloo with (alongside some blankets in the form of fur coats and warm drinks) is providing her light instead, but when she stirs awake and looks outside...

Is everything in order here, or are Amb and Coco and Crystal criminals of the highest order? ]

[ Homura's peaceful winter paradise has transformed overnight. The sharp smell of iron hits her nose as soon as she awakens, and there is a bloody hat right at the entrance of her humble abode.

As she steps outside, she'll find that the snow is disturbed wildly, and marred red all over. Red, red, red as far as the eye can see - that sure is the running theme of this morning, isn't it?

But at least there is nobody else here. It's just Homura and the blood, abandoned in the cold. ]

[ Hello darkness her old friend... They left it quite literally at her doorstep and didn't go after her?

What does this hat look like? Is it recognizable as belonging to someone here, before chat collectively spirals further?

And sure, she will. Avoid disturbing disturbed snow. Does it look like there are tracks, at least, and if so, which way do they go? Does the blood make a trail or is it literally just... red... all over ... How did someone lose this much blood.

Otherwise, she's going to search as much as she's allowed to before official headers go up and then head towards (checks map) the clockwork room or not because bam there goes Ish. ]
