INVESTIGATION

Being forced asleep the second the clock struck midnight has been an ill-omen for weeks now. Yet this morning sees you waking not to explosions and smoke, but to the comfortable feeling of eight hours of uninterrupted rest. It's 8 in the morning and the sun is already out, and all is quiet around Chateau Ambregris.

Do you dare hope that you can face the day without further bloodshed? That Ish's announcement of needing no more bodies has stilled the restless violence in everybody's hearts? They say time heals all wounds, but has this ever-repeating week truly had the same effect?

How big is the hand print compared to Dan Heng's?

Just the tip, huh? Are all the blood smeared tips pointing all in the same direction or does it seem like they may have all been one way and someone like scrambled them up while putting them away? Is there anything stashed behind the scrolls? ]

[The handprint is smaller than Dan Heng's hand, and curves around the telescope in a grip pattern.

Most of the blood-smeared scroll tips are pointing outward from the shelves -- some are pointing in different directions, especially the ones on the floor, but the majority of them are of similar orientations. Nothing is behind the scrolls, just more scrolls.]

[ G'raha has larger hands than Dan Heng, right? He has spent time around him so should know... unless you want the dragon to go hold a dead paw in front of blade's salad

It's smears and not like drops and splashes? Interesting interesting. ]

[DH you have 7 inches on him, his hands are smaller. But you could also go hold a dead paw for Blade's terrible salad vibes, I guess.

do they look like they could be his hands? like if he comes over to blade's salad and compares his hand to g'raha's hand and then come back, will it be a possible match? ]

He can sort of eyeball that it's possible? But he could also try moving the telescope, it is just laying there.]

just brings a telescope over to blade- okay he will go do that and i guess take the telescope as evidence. ]

-the blelescope (blood telecope)
-the blails (several blood trails)

he is going to walk around the room to see if there's anything else different from what he remembers. anything on the floors, up above them, on any of the shelves or desks? ]

That said, it doesn't look like anything else has been disturbed apart from what he's already examined.

As a side note, while you're walking around and looking again your blails also have points along the zigzag where there's slightly more blood concentrated.]

[It's sort of haphazard along the trail, but seems to happen more frequently closer to the body.]
