Investigation IV
INVESTIGATION
Being forced asleep the second the clock struck midnight has been an ill-omen for weeks now. Yet this morning sees you waking not to explosions and smoke, but to the comfortable feeling of eight hours of uninterrupted rest. It's 8 in the morning and the sun is already out, and all is quiet around Chateau Ambregris.
Do you dare hope that you can face the day without further bloodshed? That Ish's announcement of needing no more bodies has stilled the restless violence in everybody's hearts? They say time heals all wounds, but has this ever-repeating week truly had the same effect?
(( OOC: Comment to this entry with where your character is going in the morning. A mod response will let you know if thereβs anything to be found there! The Investigation is a free-for-all until all bodies have been found.
Once the victim(s) have been identified, there will be an IC announcement, and mods will provide Investigation sub-headers for the relevant locations. Up to 3 characters are welcome to investigate under each header unless indicated otherwise. ))

or maybe it's not because the general state of this room is blood on the floor, and splattered in the room in general. to add to that beautiful ambiance, the furniture: tables, chairs, and easels that normally decorate this room have been thrown around and otherwise dispersed into what you could just call
"a fight happened here and it was bad!" ]

the girl in the red hood does her best to keep her composure while going down the stairs. what does that trail look like? does it look like someone was dragged?
but of course, the state of the room itself knocks out most of her bravado, and has her wanting to collapse from the panic. she doesn't even know where to go first. with shaking knees and gasping for air, she tries to take stock of all the blood. how dry is the blood? she's seen far more than enough of it in her life, does it look like it could all be from one person? ]

the state of the blood is as follows: for the smaller splatters they're dry, but anything larger than that is in varying states of moist. that being said, even though the scene is not at all what ayaka wanted to find today, the amount of blood does look like it could be all from one person. ]

where on the wall is the splattering positioned? is there any distinguishable pattern? ]

does it look like the glass shattered inwards? ]

the edges of the window that remain are bloody, though it looks like there's a few strands of something black and white caught on the edges. ]

can she grab the strands of the black and white somethings? ]
ALL CORE EVIDENCE FOUND
also i missed this before, but in walking over to the window she would have seen a few chestnut brown feathers on the floor. with that, she's found all the evidence in the room but feel free to ask any clarifying questions! ]

how do the feathers look? are they ripped off or broken or does it look like they just came off? ]
