Today, tonight? Has been a long, long day. At least you've been afforded some small window of rest after the carnival, for however relaxing it might not have been. Hopefully by now you've been able to process some of what's happened, or maybe you're just looking past it.

Either way, a little over an hour after the Goddess of Ish's dreams vanished, she reappears.

Blade has been struggling with this for a long time. For a second, he knows - he felt - he deserved death. He craved it, for the longest time.

But, the hesitation this time isn't because he desires it so strongly. Maybe impressions of those feelings linger. Maybe they stir within him.

Yet, he thinks of Dan Heng. Of G'raha, Yoru, Sabo, Sariel, Siffrin, Andrew...and some of those in Primrose, by association. Those he spoke to in Tulip, as well. Those who pushed him along - maybe in minor or major ways, nonetheless.

Irrevocably, he also thinks of Hwylyrn, who he felt furious with, who seemed to go backwards, while he went forwards. His hands clench as he deliberates on this matter.

The "Blade" he is now...is different than the one who entered in here. The answer before, would have been different.

I've been fighting, for that freedom. For that happiness.
