Today, tonight? Has been a long, long day. At least you've been afforded some small window of rest after the carnival, for however relaxing it might not have been. Hopefully by now you've been able to process some of what's happened, or maybe you're just looking past it.

Either way, a little over an hour after the Goddess of Ish's dreams vanished, she reappears.

Do you want to be Rapunzel and marry a prince, or do you want to be one of the queens? I'm guessing they all get married in the end because they're all in love.

Why not let everyone get married? Rapunzel and Prince come together, as do the Queen and the Sorceress. They've achieved such understanding, such harmony, that they would weave their melodies into one, and become a duet. Is there anything happier than such pure understanding and peace?

[ the solitude-loving ayaka still doesn't know what to do with herself when it comes to romance. really, hwylryn is basically talking to her in a different language, even if she has begun to get over that need to shelter herself away from everything.

maybe she shouldn't let the impressionable dragon lead her along, but... they're not that different, in the end. ]

If we're incorporating all the stories, I do like what Bradley said about the tiger. Maybe it can be a white tiger that shows up throughout the story, but, until they resolve their differences, they don't know what the tiger means until the very end - that it is a tiger of happiness and luck, that blesses their marriages.

But I like that. Especially if this takes place in the North, then a white tiger would be perfect.

If I'm going to be a princess, then I'll choose who my prince charming is.

[ Well! This is a little surprise. He was genuinely expecting her to turn him down.

But he recovers quickly, not so much acting but imitating his own prince. And he spends enough time around him to be pretty good at it.

He takes her hand gently and bows forward, folding his other arm behind his back and dipping his head as he does so. ]

I'm honored to have your consideration, Your Highness.

[ He'll place a very light, very chaste, very courtly kiss to her knuckles. ]

If I fail to meet your expectations, then allow me at least the privilege to be the blade that protects you, instead.
