Today, tonight? Has been a long, long day. At least you've been afforded some small window of rest after the carnival, for however relaxing it might not have been. Hopefully by now you've been able to process some of what's happened, or maybe you're just looking past it.

Either way, a little over an hour after the Goddess of Ish's dreams vanished, she reappears.

( When all have given their word, in some form or another (rip wizards), the music changes from wedding fare to a much more jovial tune, one that sounds suspiciously like an ending song but, perhaps, missing its lyrics, and confetti and flowers and bubbles rain down around them in a scene both festive and fun! )

Then may you be blessed with happiness everlasting, without a day of loneliness in your lives.

( The tiger claps her hands (imagine paws) together! Where one may offer that they seal the arrangement with their partner with a kiss, Hwylryn (mercifully?) (?) offers instead: )

And now, to the bride, bride, bride, and groom, as well as the additional, secret couple — the narrator and arms dealer, whose love transcends all boundaries of the story — please, you may now sing and dance with one another to seal our story with harmony and love ♫

[ Cain practically dances over to both, a song in his voice, and he slings an arm around both of them. ]

Let's party it up and show 'em we got our happy ending!

[Typically, he hasn't been all that fond of people getting physically close to him when the prospect of murder hung over everyone's heads, but he doesn't think Cain's going to stab him or anything, so he allows it. After a few mumbling 'fumo' noises, he takes the head section of the costume and turns his head to look at Cain.]

I wouldn't mind [the party, that is], but he and I aren't in that sort of relationship.

Maybe the tiger should also join in the celebration!

[ she doesn't really know whether or not to keep in character, but she's clapping for everyone in the stage! ]

( Happily, the tiger swishes and sashays over to the dance floor with the couples, not so lonely in the moment— as Blade told him once (though, perhaps Blade regrets it now), sometimes you have no choice but to have faith. )

With every step I'll share a bit of luck, so I'll dance as the night is long ♫

( And in this line there is sincerity laced - though he has done great harm, he has had fun in this most final hour, and it is more than he deserves. But, greedily, he accepts it all anyway - whatever may come in the after, he will gladly accept that they have this. )

[ there's a lot of things that could be said here. he sure had used junior as a prop for his murder, but to continue thinking that would be trying to apply human morals to something that is inhuman in its belief and values.

so ayaka will do her best to not hold it against him. it's not easy, but she wants to try. ]

I hope... you can find that happiness too. One where you don't have to hurt yourself for it.

... I think I've found my answer, through all this.

( Because age has perverted him, grief has twisted his heart, and time has set him in his ways - though it seems repulsive to all else, there was truly no path for him but this. )

... For the first time in my long, long life, I wanted to find happiness for myself - that was my own... not just a happiness made I've given to someone else.

And I hope you find this for yourself too— you deserve it. You, and yours.
