INVESTIGATION I
Investigation
Psst. Were you enjoying your peaceful, sleepy spring morning, blanketed in magic and mystery? Alas, the times they are a-changinβ β that is to say, everyone will get a rude wake-up call from a sleep they may not remember falling into at precisely 8 oβclock AM on the dot, every single grandfather clock clanging out the hour once again. Itβs truly a grand and terrible orchestra, made perhaps just a bit worse by the state some of you may be waking up in.
Now, is this better or worse than your last magical wake-up?
Only time will tell.
(( OOC: Comment to this entry with where your character is going in the morning. A mod response will let you know if thereβs anything to be found there! The Investigation is a free-for-all until all bodies have been found.
Once the victim(s) have been identified, there will be an IC announcement, and mods will provide Investigation sub-headers for the relevant locations and up to three characters are welcome to investigate under each header unless indicated otherwise. ))

She's not sure what to make of the rules, once she's read them, and a part of her wonders if she's just imagining all of this, but...
Ah. How unfortunate.]
So this is the kind of help you needed?
[She tucks the rules under her arm, frowning. Her gaze drifts away from Ish to the corner of the room, and after a moment she shakes her head.]
Are we all meant to kill or be killed until none of us are left?

Did you seal away our abilities to keep the mysteries from being too easy to solve?

[ except for him, of course. ]

[If he knows so much about them, it stands to reason he knows what she's capable of—not that Hamel is the sort who would turn to violence, so it's more a question of genuine curiosity than anything else.]

[ we do need to see ish on mania. ]

[someone who's already powerful... they should be able to handle mania, right?]
no subject
[ he'd handle it but at what cost. ]

[It certainly seems like he's enjoying himself, but. She still feels compelled to ask.]

In a way, she'll always envy those that are sure of themselves and what they're doing, no matter what it is. Maybe that's why she has to mull it over for a moment.]
I see. But you must like other music as well, right?
[She's not even sure why she's asking, or what she hopes to find out. Without anything to guide her, she's lost, a dancer with no choreography to follow.]

[ canting his head to the side. ]
They're not my favorite, but I don't hate them either.

Do you know how to dance?
[i'm so sorry limon,]

it's not a scowl or indignation or anger, but confusion pure and simple. ]
...are you asking me to dance?

[what do you expect from her, ish!! this is how she solved every problem--]

eventually he sighs, though this one is light. ]
Well—not here. Come find me after the carnival and we can.

Alright. I'll see you later, then.
