Psst. Were you enjoying your peaceful, sleepy spring morning, blanketed in magic and mystery? Alas, the times they are a-changin’ – that is to say, everyone will get a rude wake-up call from a sleep they may not remember falling into at precisely 8 o’clock AM on the dot, every single grandfather clock clanging out the hour once again. It’s truly a grand and terrible orchestra, made perhaps just a bit worse by the state some of you may be waking up in.

Now, is this better or worse than your last magical wake-up?

[ There is nothing like that on the mirrors themselves, but there are some bloody shards to be found on the floor in front of some mirrors. ]

About how big are the shards, and is the blood relatively fresh or dried?]

[ The shards are variable in size, and the blood is dried - these aren't like... drenched in blood, they're just splattered with droplets.

There are more bloody shards towards the theater entrance and less of them towards the ballroom, notably. ]

[ Just a few droplets on the shards! ]

[ CORRECTION: closely observing, Vanis may also find a drop or two on the floor, closer to the theater than the ballroom. Your mod cannot read, apologies.

Other than that there are a few candles on the floor. None of them are lit, thankfully. ]

Are the candles arranged in any particular way/closer to the theater or to the ballroom?]

[ They're not arranged at all they're haphazardly tossed over the floor, not standing upright. There's no specific tendency to where they are located. ]

Well. Okay then. If that is all there is to see on the Promenade, then he will leave Break to his part of the investigation!

EDIT: Wait I'm dumb have the candles been burned at all...]

[ The candles are magic candles of the kind used in the chandeliers, so while they never held real fire... they still have lots of aesthetically pleasing wax droplets on them! So pretty! ]
