TRIAL IV
Trial
Another Saturday, but this Saturday is your last Saturday. If everything holds, if everything works out. After all you've been through, are you capable of being an optimist? The carnival calls regardless, furniture arranged around as they always are with banquet table and pit in the middle.
This week's new offerings are: a fluffy loaf of a certain type of rye bread, a hearty beef stew and an assortment of fresh pies with candied fruit and cream.
For the last time, find out who killed two of your own: G'raha Tia and Sariel.
(( OOC: Welcome to your first trial! You'll have 7 hours (until 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT) to vote one (1) person guilty of murder. As this is scapegoat style, a correct vote is not necessary. Please remember to vote unless otherwise discussed with the mods, as that is our AC for this game ))
Clockwork Atelier
Following the announcement, I investigated the clockwork atelier, whereupon I did discover the aftermath of what I presume to be a great struggle. Watery blood covered the floor in ghastly swaths, with no discernible pattern apart from two distinct trails leading to the wintering room.
In addition to the blood on the floor, I located two watery, bloody handprints upon the wall, one upon a clock's face and one upon the wall itself. These handprints were smeared on the edges and significantly smaller than mine own.
Furniture was strewn about the room, smashed and tossed aside. This, in addition to the blood, leadeth to my belief of a brawl having taken place.
Finally, I discovered brown feathers in the debris. [He brought them with for examination!] And given one of our fallen was quite feathered, I believe it to be of little wonder whence they came.

Though he is focused on the matter at hand. ]
Wouldn't be a surprise if a fight did occur there; Sariel must have had a fight with his killer there.
...Handprints could have been from the snow in the wintering room. Since it was nearby.

Ignoring literally everything Urianger just said, marching up to him to give him a big, tight hug.
He got the Lore, man. He's so, so sorry. ]

The hug is unexpected and twists his heart anew. But he's so, so grateful for it. He returns the embrace in kind, and silently prays for this warmth to carry him through the rest of the trial.]

We'll be okay.

[He needs to believe that, because what else does he have to hold onto otherwise?]
