TRIAL IV
Trial
Another Saturday, but this Saturday is your last Saturday. If everything holds, if everything works out. After all you've been through, are you capable of being an optimist? The carnival calls regardless, furniture arranged around as they always are with banquet table and pit in the middle.
This week's new offerings are: a fluffy loaf of a certain type of rye bread, a hearty beef stew and an assortment of fresh pies with candied fruit and cream.
For the last time, find out who killed two of your own: G'raha Tia and Sariel.
(( OOC: Welcome to your first trial! You'll have 7 hours (until 8 PM EDT/5 PM PDT) to vote one (1) person guilty of murder. As this is scapegoat style, a correct vote is not necessary. Please remember to vote unless otherwise discussed with the mods, as that is our AC for this game ))

The black hair would feasibly match Bradley, Vanis, and Dan Heng in color and length. ]

The white hair could match Bradley, Vanis, Angelo and Break.
The black hair could match Bradley, Vanis, and Dan Heng.

Yet the placements of hair are indeed dubious at best.
[He sighs.]
I know not what to focus mine attention on.
[He sounds frustrated, and he is. He needs to focus, and yet...]

Unless they were scoring the castle for me, but that seems unlikely given Sariel and G'raha were on the loose and a potential danger to them.

What were thine original intentions for the night? Was anyone expecting thee elsewhere?

[ HE DOESN'T HAVE FRIENDS. ]
I was going to get some tea and spend the night the gallery or the salon, depending on which was devoid of people.

Angelo spent the night with many of us in the tea room, unintentionally on his part, as he did explain. Which...doth return us to the hypothesis that this all began in the tea room itself.
[So what Angelo said, basically.]

If I may. [ He'll step forward towards Lili's voice. ]
Every wizard is meticulously neat with what their body produces. Any stray part that falls from us is magical in nature, and in the wrong hands, can be used as a channeling agent in a ritual, or used to harm the original wizard. That's why it's basic education for us to know how to keep our surroundings neat and dispose of the pieces of us properly, and a habit we all keep.
Bradley is centuries old, a powerful, self-respecting wizard. I find it highly unlikely he would be careless enough to leave pieces of himself anywhere, purely out of habit.
[ Water Lily would know—though it's only Urianger at this point—despite how long and thick Cain's hair is, he has never left a single strand in the room. ]
That said, the culprit could easily have taken advantage of our magically-induced sleeps to pluck hairs from him.

I understand. Thanks for explaining, Cain.
[ It certainly does help – well, to her it does, anyway. ]

Just ask if you need anything else. I'm here to help.
