You're wrapped in a soothing, all-encompassing darkness.

You've had a good nights sleep, a very good nights sleep, much like the one on Thursday night. No matter where you slept (on a chair, under a bed, in a closet), you wake up in a bed with a stranger—no, you know this person. You just spent the past weekend with them, forced to go through a hell carnival, how could you forget? Your mind is full of fog and sleep calls to you, but it's elusive.

You're at Château Ambregris, brought here against your will by a terrible Witch. So why is it that you're dressed in your old clothes again? Why does your body feel the same as it does when you woke up here a week ago? Maybe this time you won't hit your head. The clocks all gong within minutes, so at least this time it seems, you won't need to wait too long for answers. Though, it seems things aren't exactly as you remember them...

TIME LOOP:

-Characters wake up with the clothes they had with them at their canon point, like in the intro log.
-The state of their bodies is exactly the same as it was on the intro log (for better or worse).
-Any items they accumulated last week are also reset (sorry you'll need to build up your weapon cache again), except items that were given out as event rewards. Please note that the item uses are not reset.

LOCATIONS UPDATED:
-library, workshop
- pool → mud bath, throne room → menagerie
- rose soap and candle details have been updated for villas for clarity

WEEKLY EFFECT

This week's effect is mood weather. Is your character really happy? Rainbows might appear all around them. Sad? Watch out for that raincloud above your head. Having doki's? Flowers might suddenly spring up under their feet. These effects are just suggestions, feel free to riff as you like and make anger lightning of your dreams. Notably, these effects will appear even if your character has a great poker face, but is still inwardly feeling emotions.

This effect, like the weather itself, is intermittent throughout the week.

1. promenade of deflections
[ Siffrin might have avoided this place "last week" -- there's only so much looking into a mirror one can do in a timeloop before it... becomes less of a reflection of oneself and more of a reflection of what people see you as, and since it wasn't necessary to progress the plot the way it had been in the House of Change, they hadn't felt a need to do more than a quick look before -- but this one? "This week"?

...

Honestly, there's still too many people to keep track of, so they're focused on just a handful of plaques. All of Water Lily's, for one, but also Andrew's, Homura's, and Chara's. Just a handful. This is hard enough to... remember, for them.

One can catch them staring into the mirrors though, but they seem a bit. Not there. Little sad. Don't worry about it. ]

... I know it's through the observatory, so you might not wanna go... but will you come to the workshop with me?

[ This is a question Siffrin will approach pretty much anyone with. A simple one, with a simple answer expected. Either yes or no. They don't care much to explain. ]

Siffrin's taken to laying in the Solarium, sorry. Mostly as close/into the plants as they can be, which can scare people when they sit up or if they come across them napping in the warmth. One of the easels seems to have a sketch of someplace no one'll recognize, a vague shape of an island with high peaks. The rest of the details are minimal, as if forgotten.

But uh. Yeah. Promise they're not dead yet. ]

[ Blade isn't exactly the most talkative person here but apparently he is Here. And yeah observatory has moist adventure memories, though really it could always be worse (?) ]

He isn't going to disturb nap, but he will remain near to stand guard incase anyone tries to mess with them. ]

When they come across Siffrin, it happens to coincide with them inspecting Chara's own plaque. Aiming to spook them as much as possible, they say in a low and sinister voice...]

[ Oh! Siffrin is here! It looks like they’re sleeping so… G’raha takes to looking at the sketch on one of the easels while waiting for them to wake up. It seems like he’s examining it pretty closely, taking in the composition and the shape of the island and the peaks.

…He’s also definitely snacking on something too, but he’s careful not to get crumbs on anything. ]

[ The cleanest, most confident lines are the shoreline and the skylines of the mountains, with the rest a vagueness. Maybe a forest there, at the foot of the snowcapped tops. Maybe a few houses by the shore, or pressed into the ocean; there's eraser marks that denote the uncertainty of the artist in question.

Siffrin's normally a deep sleeper, especially in the wake of No Sleep, but food is different. But they're careful to sit up, to watch what...
