Psst. Were you enjoying your peaceful, sleepy spring morning, blanketed in magic and mystery? Alas, the times they are a-changin’ – that is to say, everyone will get a rude wake-up call from a sleep they may not remember falling into at precisely 8 o’clock AM on the dot, every single grandfather clock clanging out the hour once again. It’s truly a grand and terrible orchestra, made perhaps just a bit worse by the state some of you may be waking up in.

Now, is this better or worse than your last magical wake-up?

[All right, she's coming back in from catching her breath. Wiping her cheek.

And checking out the blood puddle. Presumably it's quite watery, but what's the size of it? Is it isolated?]

[It's not super watery -- the layer of rain around the observatory is quite thin. Though, it definitely ran a little in the night.

It's a substantial pool of blood. Andrew may have noticed the blood splashes on Dan Heng and Blade nearby, as well.]

[After taking ten minutes to get some hot choccy, Chara returns to the Mars Room to investigate.

[ It's not so obvious that it'd jump at you at a glance, but there is something that will draw the attention of the observant.

One of the suits of armor is not properly placed on its rack anymore. ]

actually, no she’s not. but there’s no time to freak out over this. ]

If this was a murder, then… this is probably a place where something happened!?

[ well, she’ll look around. how does the backstage look? ]

[ The backstage has seen better days. Most notably: The set backdrops in particular are in bad shape. They've been very haphazardly tossed to the side, leading some of them to bend unfortunately... ]

[ Well, he kind of gets a little quiet for a bit as thoughts roll around in that brain of his, before sighing and glancing at Ayaka. ]

[ He'll head back to where him and Sabo woke up, and if there's nothing immediately off on the way back, he'll start checking out the curtain. What's going on here, brothers. ]

[ The curtain is laying on the stage in a large crumpled heap, totally undone from what held it up previously. Staring at it for a little bit will reveal that it has tears in its fabric. ]

Even if this isn't what I expected, somehow I feel like I should have.

either way, now that he has crawled out from under the curtain (properly) and taken one of the dolls (possibly), sabo's going to explore the more of the sitting/audience area from where he fell asleep—moving away from the stage.

just what is the full state of the curtains? can he see it from where he stands or does he have to walk further back? ]

[ The curtain has entirely fallen off its rope and is laying in a big crumpled pile on the stage!

There's nothing particularly notable about the seating area, but from this vantage point, Sabo will easily see the ropes hanging loose where they were once meant to hold the curtain up. ]

[Well, they (plus the sleeping guy) are still here.

If Break walks around, how far does the glass extend? Is it all around the sleeping guy, or is it more bunched near the door, or statues?]

[ There's glass shards along the whole of the promenade. Break is free to stomp all over the area to scope it out, and he'll find similar amounts of glass crunch wherever he goes! The only area that has less of them is the middle of the path, away from the wall. ]

[So while Break is checking out the scope of the spread of the shattered glass, what else will Vanis see if he looks around?]
